Born 1807, died December 3, 1856. His grave can be found at the Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis,
Shelby County, Tennessee. His turret was placed vertically and not horizontally as those made by Cochran or others. Some were made with pill locks and some had a loading lever. It is believed that his guns were made by George P.
